Extended interview with Vehicle Development Director Sally Povolotsky

You may have caught a glimpse of our Vehicle Development Director, Sally Povolotsky, in the previous episode of Uniti Update. By popular demand, we conducted an extended interview with Sally about her plans to take Uniti to the production line.

Sally talks about her motivation behind joining Uniti. “Uniti is developing a car for the future! What excites me most are the cycle paths of the product development over the next five to ten years, some of the fantastic design and the user interface to build the ultimate vehicle which is made for a modern society.” She also expresses that the future few years coming up will be the most exciting times in the automotive space since we went from horses to cars. “This is probably the most exciting time to be a new car company in the automotive space with the rapidness of acceleration, innovation, technology and adaptation of the public to new vehicles,” says Sally.

As Uniti’s Vehicle Development Director, Sally and her team of engineers will take the prototype vehicle through a line of processes and validation, through to a fully-engineered vehicle ready to go on the road. Several stages are involved in this, such as feasibility testing, benchmarking, environment testing, crash testing etc.

Watch the interview below to find out how the engineering team will go through the next development phases to achieve Sally’s goal, “Make Uniti the best car we can all create from our passion and utilising the technology available to us!”
