Swedish automotive company Uniti brings on two key executives. Antonio Stanisci, former CEO and Managing Director of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Nordics joins as COO, and Robin Eriksson, former Regional Director of Nordic, DACH and North America markets at Kayak/Momondo joins as CMO. The new executives are part of Uniti’s big push to expand their marketing initiatives and deliver their first production vehicles.
Antonio Stanisci, COO
Antonio Stanisci, Uniti’s Chief Operating Officer (COO), is an executive with 20 years of experience in the automotive industry. Prior to his role as CEO and Managing Director FCA Nordics, Stanisci held various executive positions in Sales and Marketing management in Daimler, Chrysler, and FCA. Stanisci says, “It is time for cars to change. Technology will help to reshape the mobility industry and people are ready for it. What makes Uniti unique is its ability to rethink everything: design, materials, production, user experience, distribution model, being able to streamline operations, and finding smart partnerships to seize market opportunities. I’m joining Uniti because, after 20 years in automotive, I feel that this is my best chance to put my experience to use to help to change it.”
Robin Eriksson, CMO
Robin Eriksson, Uniti’s Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), played a pivotal role in Momondo’s expansion and growing its marketing team from three people in 2013 to more than 150 people today. Eriksson explains, “Our consumption patterns are constantly changing and I believe that Uniti is in a unique position to drive this change as we are creating a new electric (autonomous) vehicle with innovative technology and an amazing team behind it. We’re now entering a new phase to show our production-ready car at the end this year at our annual product event U18. My aim is to build a global brand, ready to challenge the problems with current vehicles and ensure a great experience throughout the whole customer journey.” Robin and Uniti CEO Lewis Horne having founded several companies together after meeting at Lund University, where both achieved a Master of Science in Entrepreneurship.
With several thousand vehicles pre-ordered and projections for strong sales growth, Uniti has a big year ahead and these new hires are pivotal to this endeavor.
Uniti exists to meet the challenges of global mobility by producing safe, clean and affordable vehicles that balance the environmental and sustainability needs of society with mass market desires for progressive design, premium experience, and high performance. Uniti’s first vehicle, the Uniti One, was launched in December 2017 at its production facility in Landskrona, Sweden.
