Welcome to Uniti Update episode #25!
It was a busy summer for Team Uniti, turning the page on our early successes and working hard behind-the-scenes as we quickly move toward production. This episode is all about what’s coming next. Through a series of soon to be announced agreements, we are on track to reveal both the 2-seat (1+1) and 4-seat (2+2) production models of the Uniti One in 2019. These production EVs will feature marked improvements to vehicle safety and usability while maintaining the same progressive, Scandinavian design seen in our prototype EVs. Our CEO Lewis Horne describes what it will take to clear this next horizon.
Producing a production vehicle requires significant expertise, from savvy supply chain planning to advanced engineering. That is why we’re thrilled to welcome Sally Povolotsky to our team as our new Vehicle Development Director. Sally brings over 15 years of automotive experience, leading special projects and working with the likes of Jaguar Land Rover on EV vehicle development.
Uniti will be relocating to our long-term corporate HQ in Sweden sometime in the coming months. Our goal is to remain efficient, focused, and true to our values while continuing to recruit the best global talent. In the meantime, we kept the cameras rolling as we moved to our temporary new home in central Lund.
